CELEBRATE THE PERFECT VALENTINE’S DAY AT THE MOST ROMANTIC HOTEL – COOMBE ABBEY

Last weekend I was  privileged to travel to the enchanting Coombe Abbey Country House Hotel situated just off the M1 near Rugby in the heart of beautiful Warwickshire.

Words cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay and the 89 photos that we took could not capture it’s beauty and sumptuous individuality.

Each nook and cranny tells a different story with unique furnishings, subtle lighting and special antiquarian touches.

Originally built as a Cistercian Abbey in the 12th Century, it is  set in 500 acres of lush parkland and overlooks formal gardens and a lake which were designed by Capability Brown.

The Hotel is steeped in history and it many inhabitants have included Princes Elizabeth daughter of James 1st, Lord and Lady Craven and latterly  Bruce Springsteen, Gary Barlow and Take That .

The hotel has 119 individual rooms and our chosen room was just breathtaking

It was the most elegant bedroom you could ever dream of and was called The Lady Craven Suite and overlooked the garden and the lake.

Any Bride would enjoy being a Princess for the day in this truly stunning hotel.

If you can imagine the bedrooms at Buckinham Palace- this was our room.

If you have ever wondered what’s behind the rope when you visit a large Country House that was our room !

There was a Wedding taking place when we where there  and everyone spoke of the impeccable service and  special ambience.

It would be perfect for special occasions and with Valentines Day just around the corner it is the perfect opportunity to experience a night of luxury or a romantic dinner in the conservatory.
