The Most Romantic & Beautiful Place in the World: The Amalfi Coast

I had the most lovely Wedding Anniversary this year. Dining first at Montinplie romantic restaurant in Knightsbridge and then going to the Royal Albert Hall to see the performance of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga which was amazing .

However my favourite Anniversary was a year ago in the Amalfi Cost most amazing hotel ever -Il SARACENO .

Through the years the Amalfi coast had attracted million of tourists and people who like to celebrate special occasions in that magical part of the world .

The famous movie and one of my favourites, Il Postino – The Postman was filmed in Positano .

I went there for a few days on a holiday to celebrate my 4th Anniversary and I couldn’t recommend a better place than the Hotel Saraceno is definitely the most outstanding hotel complex located in one of the most enchanting spots around the world.

There is original features.

In all the areas of the Amalfi coast you have to climb all day long walks up and down, so I must say if you got any knee problems I wouldn’t recommend it. A positive thing is that the hotel got an inner elevator that takes you straight to the pool and the beach. Still there are a few steps to climb but compare to other places this one is ideal .

The hotel’s got few restaurants and the one where we celebrate our Anniversary served the most divine food. It is also located in a perfect place between the Amalfi coast and Positano and if you need to get around there are bus stops just outside the hotel.

There is a few ways to get to the hotel or Positano- the most economic way is to take a bus to Sarrenti and then taking a ferry to Amalfi . From there there are buses to Positano that pass by the hotel or a taxi which is a short journey.

That way it’s quite nice to go on the ferry and see the beaute of the Amalfi Cost .If you want to enjoy the hotel more and get there quicker a taxi can be arranged in advance with the hotel and costs around 100 euro.

Enjoy !
